Professional Background

Hi there! My name is Oralia and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#151811). My general focus is geared towards working with both youth and young adults who are experiencing difficulties, stress, and trauma.  My style and approach is fueled with creating a safe space for people to navigate and process their experiences with life keeping therapy client centered, compassionate, connected, and even fun.

My clinical experience includes working as a school-based therapist both in a K-8 school systems as well as in a high school setting serving at-risk or underprivileged youth and their families, with folks in recovery from substance use, and developing a wellness hub for students in a K-8 school including social-emotional coaching. Coming from a bicultural and bilingual family, I also have a unique focus on serving the Latinx community.

I feel honored to work with a range of communities and people; however, I specialize in working with teenagers, BIPOC communities, trauma, substance use and young adults. I am profoundly grateful to be a part of my clients’ therapeutic journey as they work towards becoming the best versions of themselves.

Fluent in Spanish.
