Adult, teen, & child therapist in San Rafael, CA

Professional Background
The root of my work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist is my belief in the intrinsic wholeness of all people. Together, clients and I face the challenges and obstacles that have been keeping them from accessing their inner wisdom and living into the life they envision.
I enjoy working with clients of all ages, of diverse ethnic, cultural, spiritual, and class backgrounds, and all sexual and gender identities.
My work as a grief counselor and as a hospital chaplain honed my ability to be present with many forms of loss, to hold space for tragedy, and to help seek the meaning in painful times.
Ultimately, my goal is for clients to reclaim their wholeness and find increased peace and joy in this messy life.

Interests
In my free time, you will find me roaming the hills of Marin with my teens and dogs, reading on the beach, or attempting to wrestle the latest draft of my novel into submission at a coffee shop. In my less ambitious moments, I connect with my gamer side, both tabletop and video.
