Professional Background

Hello, my name is Candrian and I’m an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, registration number 99070. I am a client-centered therapist, and believe in empowering my clients to explore at their own pace and focus on the goals that matter most to them.

​

I enjoy using both collaborative and strengths-based approaches, and utilize a wide range of therapeutic modalities to best serve my client's needs. I’m trained in current theory and evidenced based approaches such as MATRIX, Seeking Safety, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques. Additionally, I am certified and trained in the skills employed by, the American Society of Addiction Medicine, working in both in-patient and out-patient recovery settings.

Clinical Experience

I have worked with clients from a vast multitude of demographics and backgrounds, focusing most of my career around supporting the most vulnerable and high-risk populations in our community. I have experience in both school and non-profit settings, working closely with Marin County schools around education, community outreach and program development. I am proficient in running educational and therapeutic groups with students in the classroom as well as community parenting groups.
